Red Sunset was the end product of a 3 year search for the perfect red jack, we looked far and wide and studied the red lines. We purchased him as a 2 yr old and never looked back!
Sunset has produced limited but great offspring for us and his daughters are superb breeding stock with several being show Champions. His foals have strong leg structure, body width, wonderfully balanced up-headed conformation, and are very trainable and showy!
As a herd sire he is mannerly with his jennets & foals and can be pastured safely with them during breeding season. We can easily hand or pasture breed with him as needed.
Sunset is very trainable with a real “sporting personality” and a great donkey to be around. He is an all around versatile boy that has done shows, drives, parades, horse fairs, live nativity, nursing homes, Santa’s little helper, and he does it all very willingly! We just love this boy!
